Welcome from the Headteacher

It gives me great pleasure to warmly welcome you to St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, Ormskirk.

St Anne’s mission statement is “Loving God in all we do”.  We firmly believe in trying to provide the best possible education and pastoral support for all our children with the teachings of Jesus Christ at the centre of all we do.

St Anne’s Catholic Primary School is a loving school family. The essential triangle of home, school and parish aim to work tirelessly together to provide the best for our children.  St. Anne’s is a Catholic Primary School serving the parishes of St. Anne’s Ormskirk and St. Mary’s Aughton.  We are all blessed at St Anne’s to have wonderful children, teachers, parents and parishioners.

If you are a prospective parent or a parent of children in school, we hope you find our website a useful window to life at St Anne's. Visits to school are always welcome.

Many thanks,

Mr Philip Bates

Dear parents and children,

The priority for our school community during this period of time is the health and well-being of our family and friends.  We will follow all Government advice regarding school closure along with advice on social distancing.  I ask all parents to do the same.

In the event of school closing, teachers have prepared learning activities.  This is to help parents support children in their learning whilst school is closed. Learning activities will be set on a weekly basis for each year group.

Please click on either the CURRICULUM LINK or the YEAR GROUP LINK to access support materials.  The YEAR GROUP pages will be updated regularly.

The following link has been provided by one of our parents and is an excellent resource to read with our children.  Many thanks!

I know the whole school community will work together as one during this time.

Mr Bates

Gospel Reflection

The resurrection of Lazarus - John 11: 1 - 45

In this week's Gospel we hear about an amazing thing that Jesus does for his friend Lazarus. Let us remember to share Jesus' love and hope with others.
